DuraSeal® 9015, PTFE Coated Glass Cloth Tape
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics DuraSeal® 9015 is a fiberglass fabric impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersion and coated with a high temperature, pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. Unlike other tape, DuraSeal 9015 is 48" wide compared to the industry standard at 1m (under 40"). The PTFE coated grade is the same as Primary Grade SG25, and the adhesive/liner combination is also the same.
Applications
DuraSeal® 9015 will outlast normal PTFE coated fabric materials in heat seal applications and are also used as the materials of choice in other industry sectors. These innovative new materials are based on a proven technology that provides a balance of outstanding life and competitive price levels.
DuraSeal 9015 is frequently used by heat sealers, blister packaging and form-fill-seal equipment. DuraSeal 9015 can also be used as the lining of guide rails, chutes and slides. Or it can be used as an excellent release surface in the composite aircraft industry.
